“The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.”
1 Timothy 5:17
The church elders are a group of seniors who have been chosen by God and the church to lead the next generation through the twist and turns of life. They commissioned tioned to teach, guiding, praying, loving, and guarding the church and its members. They are also answerable to God and the church for their behavior and ministry. Being a church elder is a personal and honorable calling from God. It is a way to serve God and His people with humility, wisdom, and faithfulness. It is also a way to grow in your relationship with God and others, as you seek His will and direction, and as you share your gifts and experiences with others. You can learn from other elders, support other elders, and have fellowship with other elders. The church elders are an essential part of the church and its mission.
